On October 8, you will meet Jeanne M. Liedtka, professor of innovation and design thinking and a renowned leader in this field. Together with Ulla Johansson Sköldberg, professor emerita in design at the University of Gothenburg, and Magnus Ahlström, CCO at Daresay, professor Liedtka will share her expertise on the connection between design and growth.
Jeanne M. Liedtka, professor of innovation and design thinking at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, and profiled as a Thinkers 50 thought leader in business. For the past thirty years, she has researched, lectured about, and written several acclaimed books on design, including the award-winning “Designing for Growth: A Design Thinking Tool Kit for Managers“.
Ulla Johansson Sköldberg, professor emerita in design management, has almost forty years of research behind her. She was previously professor of design management and director of business & design lab at the Gothenburg School of Economics, and she has researched and written about the relationship between design and profitability.
Magnus Ahlström, Chief Commercial Officer at Daresay, has been using design methods as part of his business development work since beginning of 2000 when he started to work for one of the first “real” social networks in the world, Lunarstorm. He has extensive experience in marketing, sales and product development in multinationals as well as start-ups in both Europe and Asia.

The seminar will be held in English. It will be about 90 minutes long, starting at 8 am. A delicious breakfast will be served from 7.30 with coffee, mingling, and inspiration. By the end of the seminar you will have a better understanding of why diversity, a user-centered perspective and a prototyping approach to problem solving are key factors for innovation and success.
